AI Software Engineer

MissionHires is seeking an experienced AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain AI-driven platforms and scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern web technologies, cloud deployment, and AI/ML integration, with a passion for optimizing business processes and enhancing user experiences.

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, JavaScript, and Python
• Experience with frameworks and libraries including Next.js, React, Node.js, and Express
• Expertise in AI and machine learning, particularly with OpenAI API, conversational AI, and AI assessments
• Strong knowledge of databases such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and DevOps tools (Vercel, AWS, Docker, CI/CD)
• Ability to work with REST APIs and implement automated testing
• Experience with version control (Git) and Agile methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

• Develop and maintain AI-driven platform features, including candidate sourcing, screening, and automated outreach modules
• Implement scalable backend services and integrate databases for efficient data management and analytics
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy candidate assessment tools
• Enhance platform security and performance through cloud deployment and optimization
• Integrate third-party APIs and develop internal tools to streamline workflows
• Lead or contribute to the migration of legacy systems to modern frameworks
• Develop internal tools for data analysis and automated reporting
• Deliver customer-focused solutions and documentation in collaboration with global teams
