Manager - Strategic Consulting (Tech Strategy)

As a Manager in Strategic Consulting (Tech Strategy) at American Express, you will be part of a diverse tech team where you can architect, code, and ship software that integrates seamlessly into our customers' digital lives. Provide strategic support for the CIO and Technology Leadership Team. Develop mid to long-term Technology Strategy for American Express. Assist with investment planning and internal modernization efforts. Create content and presentations for high-visibility projects such as Investor Day. Partner with Business, Product, Architecture, and Engineering teams to create cohesive platform strategies and roadmaps. Form recommendations for investing in strategic and emerging capabilities. Enhance and mature existing capabilities and rationalize redundant capabilities across platforms. Drive business model evolution, growth, and innovation.

Passion for creating the world’s best customer experience and winning in the digital economy. Ability to accelerate digital transformation by connecting business strategy, customer journeys, disruptive technologies, capabilities, and platforms. Strong consulting mindset with the ability to handle special, high-visibility projects. Experience in strategy/management consulting and platform strategy. Ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs in the evolving FinTech landscape. Capability to form strategic recommendations and perform build vs. buy analysis. Experience in enhancing and maturing existing capabilities and rationalizing redundant capabilities. Strong determination to achieve success in the marketplace and take personal accountability for delivering results.

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
