Veterinarian

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled veterinarian to provide high-quality medical care to the dogs we rescue. • Provide comprehensive veterinary care, including examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and surgeries for rescued dogs.
• Collaborate with the DogPaws team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each dog.
• Monitor the health and well-being of dogs in our care, ensuring timely medical interventions when necessary.
• Educate and advise adoptive pet owners on responsible pet care and ongoing health maintenance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for all dogs under your care.
• Participate in community outreach and educational programs to promote animal welfare and responsible pet ownership.

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of Florida.
• Proven experience in veterinary care, preferably with a focus on small animals or shelter medicine.
• Strong diagnostic and surgical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate approach to animal care.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to the mission and values of DogPaws, including compassion, community, integrity, and education.
